Besides her scheduled shooting for her cameo role in Jericho Rosales' Indie film "Alagwa", Ms. Carmen Soo is also here in the country because she was invited at the Islamic Fashion Festival Manila which was held last February 23 and 24 at the Grand Ballroom of Intercontinental Manila.
Here are some of her photos from the event wearing elegant clothes from Tom Saufi of Malaysia.

Last February 21 was Ms. Carmen Soo's schedule to shoot her cameo scenes for Jericho Rosales' Indie film "Alagwa". Some of her fans from the groups SOOpers and KISsers were lucky enough to get another chance to meet her again. Carmen was kind enough to come down from her hotel room and talk to them. Thank you Ms. Soo and thank you also to Echo's manager, Tita Marinez, for making it possible.
Sorry guys, it took me a couple of days to upload the photos and videos. Most of them have to be edited for privacy purposes of those (besides Ms. Soo of course) who were also caught in the camera. Thanks a bunch to the fans who sent me the photos and videos and for letting me post them here.
FOR a person who needs no introduction, she is far from the stereotypical celebrity. Stunning and in all ways pleasant, Carmen Soo is truly an epitome of humility.
Decked out in a grey blazer over a lighter grey sleeveless top, Carmen ticks all the right boxes and exudes all the qualities of the girl next door so adored by everyone. The 34-year old has been acting for the last seven years both locally and across country borders for television, and the big screen, leaving an impressively long trail of followers in Asia.
The youthful lass started conquering the eyes and hearts of many when she began modelling at the age of 17. A self proclaimed workaholic, the multilingual actress had always had her schedule packed with the hustle and bustle of activities. She took on her first part-time job at 14 while juggling with her studies and the countless school clubs she participated in. Those busy school days were just a telling of how diligent Carmen has always been with her time.
Her modelling career leaped to new heights as she, then 21, moved to Hong Kong for four years, and starred in commercials and music videos for the likes of pop idol Aaron Kwok and Jacky Cheung. Her acting career then launched itself to full force after she accepted a small role to act alongside film favourite Jackie Chan in Gorgeous (1999). She then ventured into theatre and silenced critics with a standing ovation from the audience for her commendable performance in the theatre production The Girl From Ipoh six years later.
There is no doubt that our favorite girl, Carmen Soo, loves to travel. After wrapping up her scenes for HBO Asia's Dead Minein Batam, Indonesia, she went home to Malaysia to rest and spend Christmas with family and friends. But before 2011 comes to an end, our sooper jetsetter girl boarded a plane bound for Europe to travel around Marrakech, London, Florence and Rome.
After two weeks of trotting, eating and shopping around Europe with her BFF Elaine Daly and a few other close friends, this bunch was more than ready to go home with their overloaded luggages, full stomachs and happy happy hearts!
Here are the twitpics from what Ms. Carmen Soo calls her "Adventure, adventure, adventure!".
Touch down. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Finally home!
But with only a couple of days of rest (plus errands and a press interview on the side), Ms. Soo was already on her way to another city in another country and thank God the same continent (she's still has a jetlag, poor thing). This time to Tokyo, Japan where she will be doing another photoshoot for UNIQLOSpring and Summer Collection. Can't wait to see them!
Carmen Soo for Uniqlo Malaysia.
We wonder, when are you headed for Manila, Philippines Ms. Soo? We miss you!!!
